CAD import for flat roofs
Inspired by our customers, we decided to realize the CAD import.
It is now possible to import plans in DXF or DWG format directly in the Solar.Pro.Tool and assign the layers automatically identified during import to either the Roof or Interference Areas levels.
This enables projects to be planned even faster and with high precision. Of course, changes and interference surfaces can be added afterwards.
As always, this new feature is very easy and intuitive to use. Come to our booth B3.373 and let us show you the CAD import.
New 3D display with terrain and surrounding buildings
We have come to the taste and what has emerged from a playful idea can be seen.
In December, we thought about the fact that it should be possible to determine the altitude points of the site within a radius of 100km around a project site in order to present the project in 3D in its real environment. After the first games to find out if this is possible, the idea of implementing it as a new feature was launched.
After determining the terrain, we place the appropriate satellite image over the terrain we create. Then we determine all existing buildings in the 1-kilometer radius and also create them as a 3D model. Finally, the building planned in the project with a plant is added.
The display can be moved with the left or right mouse button. The scroll wheel zooms in or out. We invite you to have this new feature demonstrated at our booth.
Offer module – Users can create their quotes in the tool
In cooperation with two customers, the module “Offer” was created. The goal was that users could store their own data, text modules and logos in the Solar.Pro.Tool in order to be able to create customer offers later directly from the “Output” section.
Before creating it, the material list can be edited either as a percentage or with fixed tops or discounts “at a stroke”.
The offer is generated as PDF, offered for download and automatically saved in the “Documentation” section.
The basics of this feature can be provided to our customers free of charge, the adaptation of the offer PDF is implemented as a special implementation according to customer specifications by us for a fee.

Extension of Polysun
Thanks to the close cooperation with Vela Solaris AG, the manufacturer of Polysun, we can present large parts of Release 8.1 at Intersolar at the same time in the Solar.Pro.Tool.
Essentially, the innovations include:
- Improving the data base for inverters and batteries
- Refinement of the interpretation salgarithmus
- Consideration of the 70 rule (Any percentage constraint can now be considered.)
- New graphical representation of the diagrams for self-consumption, feed-in, mesh reference, etc.
- Consideration of the backflow strength when calculating the generator field details.
By intensifying the direct cooperation between Vela Solaris and Levasoft, further features and their rapid deployment in the Solar.Pro.Tool are guaranteed in the future.

Interface to webshops and B2B platforms
With our further developments, we always follow our 360° thoughts. With each step, the users of the Solar.Pro.Tool should find additional added value. Benefit from the new possibility to calculate the cost-effectiveness of a system directly in the Solar.Pro.Tool.
The interface to a webshop opens up the following options:
- Prices of the material list are pulled from the webshop at run time in the context of the user. This means that prices only have to be kept centrally in one place.
- The user can immediately calculate and add his prices according to his wishes, then create a customer offer in the Solar.Pro.Tool
- The material list can be transferred to the shopping cart of the webshop with one click.
- The order is then made from the webshop
Providing an interface to a B2B platform has the following benefits:
- Users can register and authenticate in their B2B portal. From the portal, the dirkte entry into the Solar.Pro.Tool succeeds without a new, manual authentication taking place here.
- With this so-called SSO (single sign-on) technology, the boundaries between systems become invisible and thus the operation and use of a digital value chain become a pleasant breeze.
The implementations of both options are carried out within the scope of your specifications and requirements for the fixed price offer.
There are currently the basis for the interaction with the market leader for webshops Magento®, a company of ebay®.
